There's nothing quite like visiting real Venice and fake Venice in the same summer. I tried to get a picture of the book in the gondola but that was not allowed because a man once lost his camera in the water. They don't have silly rules like that in real Venice. Our gondolier said we could get a picture of us and her once we got back to land.
