I've heard this happens at Mount Rushmore too. Behind all those clouds is a great view, but too bad for you if you have only one day to visit. We ate dinner on the balcony at this restaurant and could see the clouds rolling in over the other end of the parking lot. Luckily we were able to go another time and take another picture.
